Disability/Arts is the consulting arm of Simi Linton's activities. She has worked with a variety of institutions and individuals on projects which aim to increase the scope and visibility of the vibrant arts movement emerging from the disability community, and increase the participation of disabled people in all areas of the arts:

Theatre
Simi Linton’s most recent consulting projects have been collaborations with the Writers’ Guild of America, the Dramatists’ Guild of America, New Dramatists, and the Non-Traditional Casting Project, for which she is Special Consultant. She sat on the steering committee for the following three events, made the opening remarks at each event and was moderator for two:

Written on the Body: A Conversation about Disability, HBO Headquarters, New York, April 2006.

Casting Tradition to the Wind: Disability and Theatre in the 21st Century, Columbia University, November 2005.

Broadening Diversity: Theatre and Disability, The Public Theater, New York, November 2005.

In June 2006, she made the introductory remarks at “Threads of Connection: An Evening of staged readings from plays by John Belluso”, a memorial celebration of the late playwright held at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
